French
Creek Software was organized in 1989 by Robert J. Ferguson
and Janet Ferguson,
named after a local waterway in Pennsylvania, U.S.A. (left:
a covered bridge over the French Creek in Kimberton, PA).
French Creek products fill a void in software available for
water treatment personnel.
The products combine the calculation sophistication of
university based mainframe programs with a practical common
sense engineering approach to evaluating and solving water
treatment problems. All of French Creek Software's
predictive modeling software is designed to run on Windows
compatible personal computers, though is run on a few
Macintosh machines using Window's emulators.
French Creek Software has developed a worldwide user base
ranging from Canada, the United States, Mexico, through
South America, South Africa, Western & Eastern Europe,
China, Japan and Australia. The French Creek interface
proves that chemistry has no language barrier. Our
software's intuitive interface has been described as "vice
president" proof. Users uncomfortable with computers
report proficiency with our software within days. French
Creek's programming engine is also used around the world in
thousands of automated controllers (through corporate
licensing).
French Creek products serve niche water treatment markets
including cooling water, oilfield, reverse osmosis and
membrane systems, mining and waste water, and wastewater
lead & copper minimization.
French
Creek works
closely with the manufacturers of inhibitors for water
related problems to keep our program's data base of
available solutions current. Beta testers for French
Creek products include top industry technical consultants,
as well as hands-on field engineers.
Currently, French Creek is headquartered in the historic
village of Kimberton, Pennsylvania.
French Creek Software is a privately held Pennsylvania "C"
corporation. We are proud to have started as residents
in the Penn State Technology Development Center business
incubator, "graduating" within one year of
operation. French Creek is also proud to have been
selected as a 1992 Benjamin Franklin Technology Center
Innovation Award Winner.
Look to French Creek Software for
innovative approaches to evaluating and solving water
treatment related problems.
